Life Sciences
Most of our multi-disciplinary projects have a life science component. The topics covered range from health to environment, genetics, molecular biology.
In the broadest sense life sciences study living organisms in all their forms from the most minute to the entire biosphere.
Life sciences are crucial in creating links for young people between understanding how seperate academic subjects all study the same world. For example:
- Physics and chemistry (e.g. at molecular level)
- Ecology and geography (e.g. at ecosystems and biosphere level)
- and developing thinking skills for understanding systems
